Manager Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership this evening.

The full match squad is as follows:

Substitutes – Bain, Haksabanovic, Mooy, Turnbull, Iwata, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston, Welsh.

St Mirren are the only team in Scotland to have beaten the Bhoys this season so nothing can be taken for granted in tonight’s 7:45pm kick-off.

The manager has named a strong starting eleven but makes four changes to the team from Saturday’s semi-final win over Kilmarnock.

The big news is a debut for Yuki Kobayashi while Giorgos Giakoumakis is absent from the squad amidst lots of transfer speculation this week. There’s also a place on the bench for new signing Tomoki Iwata, another potential debutant this evening.

Broadcast details

Tonight’s match is not on Sky Sports with the broadcaster at Rugby Park to show the game between Kilmarnock and Rangers.

However, viewers within the UK & Ireland can purchase a pay-per-view stream directly from Celtic for £12.99 via this link.

Celtic TV will also be showing the match to subscribers living away from these shores.

BBC Radio Scotland will also provide live audio commentary across their platforms.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs St Mirren

Postecoglou already primed us for changes in his pre-match media conference, suggesting that the efforts of Saturday and the heavy pitch at Hampden had taken their toll on some players.

Cameron Carter-Vickers missing out completely isn’t great considering his consistency but hopefully he’s back sharply and tonight is simply a case of being rested more than anything.

There is obviously keen intrigue about what Kobayashi can offer and there’s more than enough attacking talent on the pitch and on the bench to get the job done against the Buddies. Get the job done Celtic!
