Celtic defender Christopher Jullien returns to France this week to take on Rennes in the Europa League, hoping for a first victory at the stadium.
Whilst playing in France, he played at Roazhon Park three times and failed to win on any occasion. He will also sent-off there.
“At their ground, not so good. One draw and two defeats, and I was shown a red card in one of those defeats” he said, as reported by the Daily Record.
“I am due one”

“At home, I had one win and two draws against them, but it would be great to have a good moment in their stadium with Celtic. I feel as though I am due one.”
If Jullien is to get a first victory in a trip to Rennes, he will have to turn in possibly his best performance for the Hoops yet.
He played very well in the recent win over Rangers. However, Rennes are a different proposition entirely. They have started the season in excellent form, and currently sit in second place in the Ligue 1 table.
Could have a busy night against Rennes

Therefore, it stands to reason that Jullien will have a busy night against Rennes. However, it he and his Celtic team-mates play to the best of their abilities, then the Hoops could pull off what would be a terrific win.
It would take Celtic to be at their best though. If Celtic want to progress in the competition beyond Christmas, they will need to start the group stage in good form. That means avoiding defeat in France.
For once, perhaps Jullien will not be too disappointed if the game on Thursday ends in a draw.
