Read More"Champions League quality"; Celtic supporters absolutely loved David Turnbull's display vs Kilmarnock
David Turnbull produced a classy performance to help Celtic to a win over Kilmarnock tonight.
Neil Lennon’s team ran out 4-0 winners against the Ayrshire outfit, comfortably picking up all three points.
Turnbull created two assists during his time on the pitch.
The first was a dangerous corner which met the head of captain Scott Brown. The second was a brilliant combination with Odsonne Edouard to put the game beyond doubt at 3-0.
Turnbull loves a little chip over the defence.
The former Motherwell man has been a revelation in the Celtic side since signing last year. He arguably should have been introduced to the Celtic team long before he was unleashed.
Now it’s unthinkable that he’d be dropped.
Turnbull is still just 21 and if Celtic have any sense they’ll be thinking about building a team around him for years to come. He has the potential to become a real hero at Celtic Park.
It’s just a shame that supporters haven’t been able to witness his football in the flesh so far.
We’re all keeping our fingers crossed that happens later this year.
For now, we have to express our adulation on social media.
These fans have taken to Twitter tonight to share their thoughts on his performance…
