Chris Jullien's enjoying his return to Celtic Twitter

Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has his eyes on next week’s Scottish Cup Final against Hearts after a second successive win yesterday at home to Kilmarnock.

There’s no treble this term of course after exiting the Scottish League Cup, but with last season’s Scottish Cup tournament yet to be completed, Celtic are on the brink of history.

The Bhoys are now just one game away from a magnificent ‘quadruple treble’ of domestic trophies, something that has never been done before in Scottish football and like never will again.

Jullien has already tasted success at Hampden, having scored the winning goal in a final against Rangers last year, and he’s clearly looking forward to the prospect of playing in the national stadium again.

It’s only Jullien’s second Twitter post since recovering from injury.

Last season he posted on the social media website with a frequency of what seemed like every few days, delighting supporters who enjoyed his performances on our way to two trophies and the knockout stages of the Europa League.

There’s been less to cheer about this term, but Jullien’s latest posts are a sign that there’s optimism surrounding Celtic for the first time in quite a while.

Let’s hope it all continues and we’re feeling similarly happy this time next week.

As the Frenchman says, on to the cup final.
