Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has named a player that he feels isn’t being used enough by the Hoops. That player is on loan attacker Timothy Weah.
Since Weah joined the club from PSG in January, he has made 16 appearances for the Hoops, and has scored four goals.
Scored in last start

However, in that time he has only started three times for the Hoops. The last being against St Mirren, where he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win.
Sutton feels that the Hoops could have used the player more, particularly as they have struggled to score goals in recent league games.

“Something different”
“I’d like to see Timo Weah get a run out at some stage as he brings something different to the side and it could do with a bit of a shake up” he said to the Daily Record.

It is not difficult to see where Sutton is coming from. The Hoops have drawn blanks in their last two league games. Something that can’t be repeated against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Using Weah more often would add an extra dimension to the Hoops’ attacking unit. However, it seems that Neil Lennon prefers to use him as an impact substitute.
Only time will tell if Weah gets more of a ‘run out’ between now and the end of the season. Sutton clearly feels the Hoops would benefit if he did.
