Celtic’s Christopher Jullien was one of the heroes of the Hoops’ 2-1 Europa League victory on Thursday night. His towering header in the last minute of normal time was enough to clinch the win for the Hoops.

Now he has taken to Twitter to give his verdict on the game, and to praise one of his Celtic team-mates.

“What a night”

“Woah what a night! Great comeback by the Bhoys! Shoutout to Fraser Forster! And the crowd, you did rise indeed” he said.

It is not hard to see why Jullien was so enthused about the victory. He scored the winning goal in a vital victory for the Hoops.

It has to go down as the best moment of his Celtic career so far, after signing in the club in the summer from Toulouse. He is also correct to give a ‘shoutout’ to Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster as well.

Forster pulled off two excellent saves to ensure that the Hoops won the game. It was good to see Jullien pass this difficult test after a recent poor performance against Livingston.

Not much time to dwell on victory

He won’t have much time to dwell on the victory though. Celtic are back in action on Friday, in an important league visit to Aberdeen.

Jullien will once again have to be at his best, as he will be up against in-form striker Sam Cosgrove. However, he should take plenty of confidence form how he performed against Lazio.

In fact, the entire Celtic team should take confidence from the game. They showed great resilience and character to battle back from a goal behind.

They will need to show similar traits at Pittodrie to pick up what will be a vital three points.
