Celtic’s £7 million man Christopher Jullien is confident that the Hoops can make a big impression in the Europa League this season.
In fact, he has gone as far as to claim that the aim for the Hoops this season is to win the competition. His reason for that is the attitude that is shown by his team-mates, even in training.
“Since I arrived here I have seen that all the players constantly have trophies on their minds” Julllien said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
“They want to win at everything”

“They want to win at everything, even in training, and this is important for our team. But if you were to go into the locker room and ask each of them what their goal was, they’d tell you it is to bring the trophy home.”
For Celtic to win the Europa League, they would have to improve on their recent performances in the competition.
In the last two seasons, they have exited the competition at the last 32. However, that was under the management of Brendan Rodgers.
Style may differ under manager

This time, the Hoops enter the group stages under the management of Neil Lennon. Therefore, we might see the Hoops take a different approach to the competition.
They might play in a more cautious style than they did under the previous manager. That might give the Hoops a better chance of progressing in Europe.
We will get our first chance to see how the Hoops will fare under Lennon in Europe when they take on Rennes in the Europa League group stage opener.
Jullien seems confident that Celtic can impress in the competition, but only time will tell on that front.
