Class footage of Ange moment with Celtic away support at Fir Park emerges
Ange Postecoglou had another bonding moment with the Celtic away support at Fir Park today, following the 2-0 victory over Motherwell.
Celtic have moved up to fourth position in the Scottish Premiership, now sitting just four points behind league leaders Rangers. They dropped points at home to second-placed Hearts at Ibrox.
There were jubilant scenes in the away end as a result, with the squad and the manager heading over to stoke the celebrations. The class moment was captured on video by Twitter user @BhoyPapa.
It follows a similar moment from two weeks ago, when Jota’s late strike against Aberdeen prompted even wilder scenes at Pittodrie.
There’s a real feeling that Celtic are moving forward with purpose and unity at the moment.
Although the media screams about Ange being under pressure, there is clearly great affinity between the match-going support and the Greek-Australian.
With a couple of away wins under his belt and almost a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time, the manager is well placed to finally find the consistency at Celtic that everyone needs to see.
There will be tens of thousands in attendance on Tuesday afternoon against Ferencvaros, before another close to capacity crowd at home to St Johnstone next weekend.
Those two home games are a good chance to consolidate the momentum gained by these victories on the road.
Another tough match on the road awaits against Hibernian a week on Wednesday, but as Dundee United demonstrated today, they can be gotten to.
It’s onwards and upwards for Ange’s Celtic.
