Neil Lennon has announced his Celtic team for tonight’s UEFA Europa League fixture away to AC Milan, per the official club website.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Barkas, Elhamed, Bitton, Ajer, Frimpong, McGregor, Brown, Rogic, Laxalt, Christie, Edouard.
Substitutes – Bain, Hazard, Jullien, Taylor, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Ntcham, Henderson, Welsh.
Given the drama, anger and emotions in the wake of Sunday’s defeat to Ross County, it was almost easy to forget that tonight’s match is happening.
The fact we’ve been knocked out of the Europa League doesn’t help that much.
Still, a heavy defeat tonight would only add to our woes regardless of your thoughts on the manager, so we’re all hoping for a strong performance tonight.
It’s not an easy task, with Milan showing their quality at the top of Serie A.
The manager has named a side of regulars for the fixture, knowing that he needs some sort of progress on the pitch right now.
Broadcast Details
Tonight’s match is not on the club’s ‘Pass To Paradise’ streaming service for season ticket holders as Celtic do not own the TV rights to the Europa League.
Celtic TV will be broadcasting live audio of the fixture, for subscribers worldwide.
If you’re in the UK & Ireland, BT Sport 3 is where you want to be to watch the game.
BBC Radio Scotland is providing live audio commentary online and over the airwaves.
Fan reaction
It’s hard to find much positivity out there amongst the support right now.
Some fans appear to be a little disappointed with the lack of rotation in the team, hoping to see some new faces given nothing tangible is on the line tonight.
The continued selection of Scott Brown is a source of puzzlement for others.
Hopefully though this experienced unit can surprise us and produce a performance of quality. We need it, big time.
These supporters have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all…
I’m lost for words with the managers selections now. This is beyond a joke. Can’t understand why he wouldn’t change it up like he said he would in yesterday press conference. Is he now incapable of telling the truth?

Where’s the rotation?
Why is brown playing in a dead rubber?
Amateurs!

Would’ve been good to see some rotation, given it’s a meaningless game but hey ho ! Let’s try and not humiliate ourselves again 😬 #CelticFC https://t.co/qt8zwuC6vs
