Neil Lennon has named his Celtic team for today’s match away to St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership, as per the official club website.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Barkas, Elhamed, Duffy, Ajer, Frimpong, Taylor, Turnbull, McGregor, Ntcham, Elyounoussi, Edouard.

Substitutes – Bain, Jullien, Brown, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Christie, Rogic, Welsh.

Celtic have a big opportunity to go top of the table ahead of Rangers’ fixture at home to Ross County this afternoon.

Putting pressure on Steven Gerrard’s team is the minimum we expect today.

Lennon’s squad only returned from Bosnia on Friday afternoon so haven’t had optimum recovery and preparation for today’s fixture.

That may be why the manager freshened things up in today’s lineup, most notably in midfield.

David Turnbull makes his first start for the club in place of Scott Brown, with Olivier Ntcham also starting ahead of Ryan Christie.

Callum McGregor takes the captain’s armband.

It’s an exciting team and one which I have full confidence in picking up the three points.

Broadcast Details

Today’s match is not on the club’s ‘Pass To Paradise’ service because it’s an away match.

However, if you are outside of the UK & Ireland, Celtic TV will be broadcasting the fixture to subscribers.

Those more local to Celtic Park can watch the game on Sky Sports Main Event or Sky Sports football.

If you can’t tune in there, BBC Radio Scotland will be providing live commentary over the airwaves and online.

What are fans saying?

Supporters are very keen to see what Turnbull has to offer from the start today after an impressive substitute showing against Hibernian last Sunday.

With popular players such as Ntcham, Odsonne Edouard and Jeremie Frimpong also in the team, there’s really not much to complain about at all.

That’s pretty rare for the support these days, but yes, fans are simply looking forward to the lunchtime kick-off!
