Celtic have named their team to take on Hibernian in the Scottish Cup on Saturday. The team was revealed on the club’s official Twitter account.

The big news is that Mikael Lustig returns to the starting line-up for the first time since December. Lustig hasn’t played since the 1-0 loss to Rangers in December. He has been replaced in the side since then by Jeremy Toljan.

Not a surprise

But it is not a surprise to see Neil Lennon pick a player who he is very familiar with and indeed signed for the Hoops back in 2012.

The other interesting news is that Odsonne Edouard starts, which is no surprise after his late winning goal against Hearts. Overall, there are two changes from the side which played Hearts. Lustig replaces Toljan, and Edouard replaces Ewan Henderson.

A bit of a gamble

It is a bit of a gamble to Lennon to start Lustig in the game. The reason he was dropped in the first place was because his performances were on a downward spiral.

It does make sense for Edouard to be given the nod to start though. He has more than earned his start after his priceless winner at Tynecastle.

Supporters will be looking forward to seeing Edouard and Oliver Burke up-front, the pair could cause Hibs plenty of problems.

Lennon will be well-aware how difficult it will be for the Hoops to pick up the win at Easter Road. He managed Hibernian until January, so knows about the danger they will pose. Hopefully the changes made come off and the Hoops get through to the semi-finals.
