Wilfried Nancy believes that this weekend’s cup final is the best chance for him to finally get the fans onside.
Nancy has already set an unwanted record by losing his first two games in charge – the first Celtic manager to do so.
Things don’t get any easier either as the Frenchman now prepares to face St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup final on Sunday.
Nancy hasn’t been panicking in the build-up and believes that his vision will work in the long term, but feels that there is no better game than the trip to Barclays Hampden to get the ball rolling.

Wilfried Nancy on the importance of the cup final
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s showdown, the 48-year-old has backed his team to turn things around and ensure they retain their Premier Sports Cup crown.
He said: “I know where we are. I know where we want to go and I know what we need to improve on.
“The fans for me are like the players. The way they are behind us all over the world, you know.
“Everybody knows Celtic and the fans and the atmosphere like I said. Obviously we want to win the trophy for them. They are so important.”
Wilfried Nancy’s record in cup finals
This isn’t the first time the Frenchman has been involved in a cup final and thankfully, he has a good record.
He won the Canadian Championship with CF Montreal, as well as the MLS Cup and the Leagues Cup with Columbus Crew.
Furthermore, Nancy has also done well on the continental stage too and has plenty of experience in high-pressure situations.
To get your first win in a cup final would be a special moment, and a huge turning point.
