Derek McInnes says he could be missing up to six Kilmarnock players for the visit of Celtic on Sunday, noting that his midfield is looking particularly light.
Killie host the Bhoys at Rugby Park this weekend as the only Scottish side to have beaten Brendan Rodgers’ team this season.
However, all three of their starting central midfielders for that League Cup encounter could be absent for the Noon kick-off.
Six Kilmarnock players could miss Celtic match
The Kilmarnock manager told Sky Sports: “Joe Wright is touch and go for the game. We’ve got Innes Cameron and Kyle Magennis out – although Magennis will probably be back next week.
“We’ve got Brad Lyons and Liam Donnelly, who picked up injuries from the other day at Pittodrie. Young David Watson is unfortunately suspended.
“There’s a few there in the one area of the pitch that we’ve got a real concern about. Hopefully we can get some good news over the 48 hours on one or two and we can be as strong as we possibly can be with selection.”
Rodgers meanwhile is waiting on the fitness of Cameron Carter-Vickers after he was sent for a precautionary MRI scan this week.

The Celtic defender felt a hamstring issue at home to Hibernian on Wednesday night and the Bhoys want to get the all-clear despite no sign of pulling a muscle.
Daizen Maeda, Liel Abada and Reo Hatate remain out for the Scottish champions but Rodgers has no fresh concerns other than the Carter-Vickers problem.
