The big news is that club captain Scott Brown is left out of the side. He is not even on the bench. Callum McGregor takes his place as skipper. The Hoops also look to be going for goals, with Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard as the strikers.
Christopher Jullien and Boli Bolingoli return to the starting line-up after missing up against Cluj. Scott Sinclair once more misses out on the squad completely. Craig Gordon replaces the injured Scott Bain in goal.
Fans confused over status of former mainstay
Fans on social media have been giving their view on the team. A number are confused about the situation with Scott Sinclair, who seems completely out of the picture.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media to the Hoops starting line-up:
Why did we not start this team against cluj?
The fact Sinclair can’t get in to the team for a game like this makes me think he’s gonna leave. And if he does, we need to replace the goals he brings

Celtic go into the game looking to bounce back from the costly 4-3 loss to Cluj in midweek. That result knocked the Hoops out of the Champions League, and derailed what had looked to be a promising start to the season.
With more big games on the horizon, it is important that Celtic return to form with a win over Dunfermline. The team that has been selected by Neil Lennon should be more than good enough to get the job done.
