How to watch Hibernian vs Celtic on Wednesday night as Sky Sports opt out

There are only three games left of the Celtic season and while the outcome of upcoming league encounters matters little, fans will still be looking to savour seeing the team in action while we can. It’ll be a long summer without the Bhoys, after all.

Up next is a trip to Easter Road to face fifth-placed Hibernian. After two games on the bounce without a victory, Ange Postecoglou and the team will be eager to get back to winning ways in an effort to peak again for the upcoming Scottish Cup Final in early June.

Sky Sports aren’t showing the fixture in Edinburgh, which kicks off at 7:45pm. The Scottish Premiership’s exclusive rights holders will instead be taking in Hearts’ trip to Ibrox to face Rangers, as they chase third spot behind Aberdeen. But there is still a way to find an official broadcast of the fixture.

Hibs vs Celtic broadcast details

Hibs are providing a club pay-per-view service for a £12.99 fee on their online streaming platform, with full details found via this link. That’s obviously far from ideal for those unable to attend in person, a live TV match would be preferable, but it’s at least a viable way for many fans to tune in.

Celtic have played the Easter Road club on three occasions this season and have found much success, winning in each match and racking up the goals.

The Bhoys won 6-1 at Celtic Park in October before travelling to the capital and routing our upcoming hosts 4-0 in December. The last fixture between the two sides came in March, with Celtic coming out on top 3-1.

A 13-2 aggregate score suggests there will be more joy up against Lee Johnson’s outfit this week, but the newly crowned champions have been off the boil of late and there are no consequences to the full-time result this time around.

Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of team Postecoglou fields, with plenty of rotation possible ahead of a joyous trophy day against Aberdeen at the weekend.
