Marian Shved’s competitive debut has gone down very well with the Celtic support. The Hoops winger made his long-awaited first competitive appearance for the side in the 2-0 win over Nomme Kalju.

Appearing as a second-half substitute, Shved almost scored with his first touch of the ball, but was denied by the goalkeeper.

However, he wasn’t to be denied, and scored his first Celtic goal with a great finish in injury time strike. Shved’s great finish excited the Celtic support on social media.

One fan claimed that the player would go on to be a ‘huge talent’ for the club. Here are some of the best reactions from social media to Shved’s performance:

The Hoops boss will no doubt have been impressed by what he saw from Shved in a cameo role. Therefore, he will be looking forward to seeing what the player can do when he gets a full match under his belt.

Shved could be a player with a big future for the Hoops. He is only at the start of his Celtic career, but already he looks like he could contribute heavily this season.
