Joe Hart labelled Celtic Park as ‘very special’ via his Instagram story after the 3-1 win over Kilmarnock.

After the heartbreak of midweek, Brendan Rodgers and his players were back on the horse, this time to see off a stubborn Kilmarnock side who created a number of chances yesterday.

But the quality inside Celtic’s ranks was just too good, which was showcased by Reo Hatate, who produced the standout moment when he opened the scoring after 22 minutes.

The Japan star knocked the ball past his opponent whilst standing still like he had a PlayStation controller in hand, before driving at Killie’s box and guiding the ball into the bottom corner.

Luis Palma joined the party 11 minutes later, before Greg Taylor made sure of the points late in the second half.

Joe Hart didn’t get his clean sheet, but he was pleased by what he saw from his teammates, as he praised the above trio and sent the following message via his Instagram story on Saturday evening.

Seven wins out of eight for Rodgers

It’s been a very strong start and a positive return for Rodgers, who has won seven out of his eight league games in charge.

The lead heading into the international break is seven points to second-placed St Mirren.

That could change on Sunday, with St Mirren and Rangers locked in their battle for second place ahead of their showdown.
