Should Celtic end up facing Maccabi Tel Aviv in the third round of Champions League qualifiers, a former key man at Celtic will be involved in the game.
Former Celtic chief scout John Park is currently a football consultant for the Israeli side, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
Key man at Celtic for many years

He was a key figure at Celtic for many years. He worked with Neil Lennon during his first stint as Hoops boss. Indeed, it was reported that Lennon wanted to bring Park back to the club for his second spell as manager.
However, the move did not happen. Should Celtic and Maccabi meet in the third round, the involvement of Park will add a new layer of intrigue to the game.
Knows about plenty of the current Celtic side

Park will know all about plenty of the players who make up the current Celtic side. He will be able to tell his new employers about the style of football played by Neil Lennon’s side.
Of course, Maccabi may not even reach the third round. They could lose to Cluj in their second round tie. However, should the teams meet the involvement of Park may be critical.
That is for the future though. For now, Neil Lennon and Celtic will be concentrating on defeating Nomme Kalju in the second round of qualifiers.
Once that tie is over, then the looking ahead can begin.
