Josip Juranovic is a happy man tonight after helping Celtic to a dramatic 1-0 win over Dundee United at Celtic Park.
With the score deadlocked at 0-0 at the interval, Ange Postecoglou tasked both Juranovic and Jota to provide an attacking impact off the bench in the second half.
They certainly did that, helping push the Bhoys on to a 90th-minute winner from Liel Abada and a famous three points that closes the gap on Rangers.
Juranovic has taken to Instagram this evening to react to the scenes at Celtic Park, simply saying, “What a night! Amazing!” alongside a fantastic image of both the Croatian and Jota celebrating the goal with supporters.
That is just a wonderful picture. The passion on the face of Juranovic. The sheer delight of the supporters. The majesty of Jota receiving his acclaim.
The cross in from the Portuguese winger was sublime and Abada having the composure to stick it away really puts us in the thick of the closest title race in Scottish football for years.
It’s clear that the players are on an absolute high at the moment. In fact, the whole club seems to be riding the crest of a wave that takes us towards the derby.
Let’s just keep this going for a bit longer and put ourselves in a really strong position for the end of the Premiership season.
