Wins simply don’t come sweeter than that.

Celtic have pulled off a classic comeback at Rugby Park, fighting from behind to win yet another game in dramatic circumstances.

In a dreadful first-half, the Hoops fell 2-0 behind, and simply didn’t get playing until after the break – at which they made three changes.

Sebastian Tounekti got the comeback rolling, but the man of the moment was Julian Araujo, who popped up in the 97th minute to seal the three points.

The Mexican full-back has been reacting to an incredibly dramatic finish.

It was Araujo’s first goal for Celtic, and what a time to get it.

Filling in for the injured Alistair Johnston, he has firmly established himself as the team’s undisputed first-choice right-back.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Araujo was buzzing, admitting that he didn’t have the time to realise how big a moment his goal was.

He said: “Yeah, this is what’s Celtic’s about. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to get minutes and continue to play.

“Obviously, it was a long, a long journey, a long start of my season, but I’m grateful for this moment.

“I put myself in the positions to live for moments like this, and I’m grateful for my teammates because they welcome me with open arms, and, you know, to them, we are where we are now.

“I don’t score many goals! So my only thought was just hit it hard, and, uh, I mean, I was only, like, five feet away from the goal.

“So, you know, I just put some power to it, and hopefully, it got past the goalkeeper.”
