Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart couldn’t help be impressed by Bhoys supporters at Hampden today, even in the middle of a post-match interview with Viaplay Sports.
Hart wasn’t actually the busiest of players at the national stadium. He wasn’t forced into many saves as Rangers were restricted to just two shots on target across the 90 minutes. Celtic put their chances away thanks to Kyogo Furuhashi in a 2-1 win.
The veteran shot-stopper has long been known as good value in interviews and after the match didn’t disappoint, looking visibly in awe of the Celtic fans singing You’ll Never Walke Alone.

Joe Hart amazed by Celtic support
He said: “I thought it was a great game. I thought we kept our cool in some tough moments. We played really well and won it our way, Rangers are a good time and hard to put away. They pushed hard. We had enough in the end for this anthem [You’ll Never Walk Alone] to be blasted and send fans home happy.
“Me personally, it’s everything. It’s that moment. You’ve got to enjoy it. Look at this, look at it, just look at it, it’s special. You see it and you feel it. This club’s so special and it means so much to people.
“Us, putting our heart and soul into the pitch, however it turns out I’m pretty sure they’ll be behind us. But it demands trophies, we’re aware of that and we’re very, very proud.”
Hart could end the season as a five-time trophy winner with Celtic and you get the sense he is absolutely loving moments he might not have thought he’d experience again in his career.
The former England international has had an incredible rebirth at the Bhoys, just like other goalkeepers before him working under Stevie Woods and the rest of the coaching staff.
He’ll be giving everything to make sure there are more days like this ahead on the immediate horizon.
