As yet, Celtic have not named their next permanent manager. However, if you look closely at some recent team selections by interim boss Neil Lennon, they point towards Lennon being named as the next permanent man in charge.
Take the most recent game, the 0-0 draw with Hibernian. Lennon didn’t start any loan player who is unlikely to be at the club next season.
Players left out of starting line-up

Filip Benkovic and Oliver Burke were unused substitutes, whilst Timothy Weah only made a late cameo appearance.
That seems to be a sign that Lennon is selecting players who are likely to be at the club next season. Which could also be an indication that Lennon will be at the club next season.

Things could change quickly
Now, things could change quickly. Perhaps Burke and Benkovic will return to the team. They could be used in an attempt to help the Hoops secure the four points needed to win the league.

But if the loan players are kept on the bench once more, Lennon seems to be picking the team with an eye on next season.
In a way that makes some sense. The Champions League qualifiers are set to begin in July. Planning for those games must begin soon.
The team selected by Lennon to face Kilmarnock on Saturday could provide more clues about both his and Celtic’s future.
