Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has taken to Twitter to share his delight at the Bhoys winning the Scottish League Cup final against Rangers.

Apparently left in such disbelief that he couldnโ€™t muster any words, the big man posted a series of laughing emojis on full-time, having clearly enjoyed a crazy 90 minutes of action.

Dembele of course was no stranger to leaving Rangers gutted at Hampden, albeit never in a final. He prided himself on being a derby day destroyer.

His former teammates didnโ€™t make it easy for themselves today but can still be proud of a battling performance that secured a 1-0 win and has put a tenth successive domestic trophy in the Celtic Park cabinet.

The Lyon man might have noticed our striking woes today, with Lewis Morgan left with the unenviable task of playing out of position due to Odsonne Edouard not being able to start the game.

Our need for another forward has never been more obvious and hopefully, itโ€™s something the club address during the January transfer window.

Edouard has stepped into Dembeleโ€™s shoes nicely, but we need far more depth beyond the current options of Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Bayo.

Celtic fans loved Dembeleโ€™s response to our win, taking to the social media platform to offer a big response that included thousands of retweets, likes and these comments belowโ€ฆ
