Neil Lennon has announced the Celtic team that will take on Ross County as the Hoops play their first home league game of 2020.
The team, which was revealed on Celtic’s Twitter account a short time ago, is as follows:
Starting XI: Forster; Bauer, Jullien, Simunovic, Hayes; Brown, Ntcham, McGregor; Forrest, Johnston, Griffiths
Substitutes: Gordon, Taylor, Welsh, Rogic, Karamoko, Klimala, Edouard
The biggest news to take away from the starting line-up selected by the Hoops boss is that Odsonne Edouard is on the bench. The Hoops have gone from two strikers against Kilmarnock to one for this fixture. Moritz Bauer starts as expected and Mikey Johnston and James Forrest return to the starting line-up.
On the bench, the likes of Stephen Welsh and Karamoko Dembele are given an opportunity.
Change of system is talking point

Some Celtic fans have given their reactions on social media to the starting line-up Lennon has chosen. One fan said that the team’s system change from the win over Kilmarnock was ‘needless’.
A lot of fans are pleased to see Karamoko Dembele on the bench though.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media to the team that will start against Ross County:
Celtic go into the match on the back of a convincing midweek 3-1 win over Kilmarnock. Despite that, Neil Lennon has elected to make a few changes to his line-up.
One intriguing aspect of the game is that a win for Celtic would put title rivals Rangers under huge pressure before their trip to Hearts on Sunday.
Win will put pressure on title rivals

A win for Celtic would move them five points clear at the top of the league. However, the Hoops will only be concentrating on themselves, and making sure that the three points are won.
Celtic have returned from the winter break in good form, with two wins from two games and five goals scored.
If the Hoops play as well as they can against Ross County, there is no reason why the Hoops can’t keep the winning run going with a comfortable victory.
