Celtic’s first home game since their 2-1 loss to Rangers in December is on Saturday, when the Hoops take on Ross County.
The Hoops go into the game on the back of a very good performance in the midweek 3-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon picked an intriguing 3-5-2 formation in that game, and we expect the Hoops boss to pick a similar formation against the Dingwall side.
Here is the team we expect the Celtic gaffer to start:
In goals, there is only one option – Fraser Forster. He would have been annoyed to have conceded a goal against Kilmarnock in midweek, but there was nothing he could do about it.
In defence, we predict that Neil Lennon will select the same three centre-backs that started at Rugby Park – Jozo Simunovic, Kristoffer Ajer and Christopher Jullien. The trio were excellent against Kilmarnock, and have earned the right to start once more.
On the right-wing, Neil Lennon has confirmed that Jeremie Frimpong will miss the game. Therefore, Moritz Bauer will get the nod to start.
The Scottish Sun reports that James Forrest has returned to Celtic training. We expect him to start on the left-wing.
In the middle of the park, the usual duo of Scott Brown and Callum McGregor will start as they almost always do. However, we expect Tom Rogic to get a start, instead of Olivier Ntcham.
Mercurial player can break down defence
The reason why – Celtic are at home, against a struggling Premiership side who will be playing with lots of men behind the ball. The Hoops might need the genius of Rogic to breakdown a team which will no doubt be very defensive.
Up-front, there is only one option: the duo of Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths. The pair were in devastating form against Kilmarnock, and you would expect the strikers to have plenty of chances to add to their goal tally.
Here is the team we expect to be selected for the game, presented as usual in list form:
