Ryan Christie believes that the mentality displayed by Celtic separates the Hoops from the rest of Scottish football.
The Hoops have had to deal with all manner of issues this season. From Brendan Rodgers leaving the club to a massive injury list.
That hasn’t stopped the Bhoys from winning games though, and Christie has explained why.

“Really good”
“The mentality is really good” Christie told Celtic TV, as cited by the Scottish Sun. He then went on to reveal the players that have been most influential in the dressing room and on the pitch.
“Scott Brown is there every season and leads us, but you also have the likes of Mikael Lustig and James Forrest.”

“When it comes to the crunch time, they know how to really step on.”
Dragged the Hoops to victories

The experience of players who have won it all is really useful to Celtic. They have helped drag the Hoops to some victories that the performances haven’t merited.
Most recently, the 1-0 win over Dundee thanks to Odsonne Edouard’s injury time winner. It was the will to win which dragged the Hoops over the line to victory.
Christie’s emergence this season has also been a factor for the Hoops. He has chipped in with some big goals. Overall though, it is all about the team. And this current Celtic team never seems to give up.
