Celtic mainstay Scott Brown has commented on what the Hoops must do to ensure that they make the Europa League group stages.
Celtic hold a 2-0 lead over AIK to have a good chance of making progress in the competition. However, Brown has been at Celtic long enough to know that away matches in Europe are never easy.
“It’s about our mindset and how we go into this game” Brown said, as reported by Celtic’s Twitter account.
“Dictate the play”
“Away games are always more difficult but it’s about us playing our way, trying to dictate the play and not panic.”

The part about not panicking will be key to Celtic’s chances of progressing. The Hoops cannot start to worry should AIK score an early goal.
They must keep their heads, and keep playing their natural game. Should Celtic manage to ‘dictate the game’ as Brown comments, then they should find that the goals will come.
Hoops should be confident they can score
The Hoops have scored in every competitive game this season, therefore they should be confident that they can breach the AIK defence.
Brown has experienced a lot of European nights in his time with Celtic. In that time he has seen the Hoops have great victories and terrible defeats in Europe.
The game against AIK is a big one, as avoiding defeat would guarantee the Hoops European football until December.
Should his team-mates pay heed to what Brown is suggesting, then the Hoops can progress to the group stages.
