Celtic face St Mirren on Wednesday night, potentially only two wins away from retaining the Premiership title.
Despite being so close to league glory, Neil Lennon might decide to make a few changes for the game. Particularly as the game comes on the back of the recent 2-1 win over Rangers.
Changes could be made

Some players who featured against Rangers might be rested against St Mirren.
One of the players who should be rested and taken out of the spotlight for once is Hoops skipper Scott Brown.

Brown has been at the centre of yet more controversy following the derby. He was elbowed by Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent seemed to throw a punch at him. Despite this, Brown came out on top, as he usually does against Rangers.
Rest would do the player good

However, he has played non-stop in recent weeks, and a rest could do him good, especially with the Scottish Cup semi-final under a fortnight away.
The Hoops have plenty of players who can replace Brown in the middle of the park. Olivier Ntcham, Callum McGregor, or even Tom Rogic could take the captain’s place.
Will all due respect to St Mirren, the Hoops should be good enough to beat them with Brown out of the side. It might be a risk to leave such an influential player out of the team. But in the big picture it is one that is worth taking.
