Sebastian Tounekti has reflected on last night’s big win over Sturm Graz.
It was a significant victory for a number of reasons. It lifts pressure off of the Celtic players and Brendan Rodgers after losing 2-0 to Dundee on Sunday.
It also gets Celtic properly off the mark in the Europa League and boosting their chances of qualifying automatically for the last 16.
Tounekti started on the left wing and looked dangerous again after a couple of disappointing displays, particularly at Dens Park.
He showed a terrific piece of skill in the first-half to nutmeg one Sturm Graz player and then skip past another before driving in a low cross.

Celtic’s ‘keep going’ message at HT against Sturm Graz
The Tunisian spoke to the media after the game and revealed that the half-time message inside the Celtic dressing room was to keep on pushing, knowing that eventually Graz will crack.
The Austrians led 1-0 for a large spell of the match, but Celtic hit back in the second-half to deservedly secure a 2-1 win.
Tounekti said: “It’s a massive win tonight. We felt like we needed this to get going again.
“We felt maybe the results haven’t been so good. The last couple of weeks, the performance also hasn’t been so good. So we felt like tonight was a great chance to go out and show what we can do.”
“I felt like maybe the start was a little bit sketchy, but I feel like after 10 to 15 minutes, we played really well and we deserved to win. It was a good game, actually. A very tight game, to say the least.
“We spoke in the dressing room about keeping going because we felt like maybe, especially the last 20 minutes, we were really on them. We had a really high tempo and we kept going. So for us, it was just like to keep going. We know if we got 1-1, we will get the 2-1.
“This was a massive game, but we have so many big games coming now. So for us, we have to use this as an inspiration to just keep going because we’re going to have a massive game already on Sunday. So, yes, we just have to keep going.”
