Some Celtic fans are excited about the potential inclusion of Karamoko Dembele against Cluj on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Manager Neil Lennon confirmed he is in the squad for the trip to Romania during his pre-match press conference, alongside other young talents such as Scott Robertson and Grant Savoury.

To date, Dembele has only made one senior appearance for the Hoops, against Hearts at Celtic Park last season. He was then included on the bench in the Scottish Cup Final.

His cameo against the Jam Tarts was thrilling though, with the teenager already looking like he might have the quality required to shine in the Scottish Premiership.

Lennon has remained patient with the player since, who has also had to battle some injury and fitness issues this season.

Now apparently fully up to speed, could we see him make a start in Romania?

That’d certainly add an exciting element to a match that is essentially meaningless for the Hoops. We’ve already progressed at group winners to the knockout stages of the competition.

It’d be fascinating to see how Dembele performed at this level, with Cluj already showing they are capable of holding their own in the Europa League.

These fans are keen to see the player, taking to Twitter over the last 24 hours to share their thoughts…
