Some Celtic fans were unhappy with Tom Rogic’s display against Aberdeen, despite the Hoops getting the three points which clinched the league title.

The game ended 3-0 to Neil Lennon’s side, but some fans weren’t impressed with the attacking midfielder.

Indeed, some supporters took to social media to show how unhappy they were with his performance.

One fan described Rogic as ‘too slow’, with another claiming that he was ‘so leggy’.

In Rogic’s defence he hasn’t been back long from a knee injury. However, he hasn’t imposed himself as much as he can in recent weeks. It was surprising that Rogic completed the 90 minutes, as he didn’t feature much in the game. In Rogic’s defence he did provide the assist for Odsonne Edouard’s goal late on.

On fringe of games

He has been on the fringe of games, instead of dominating matches like he can.

Such is Rogic’s skill though, it is no shock that Neil Lennon has kept picking the player.

Indeed, it would be no surprise to see Rogic selected for next week’s Glasgow derby, as he has such a good record against Rangers.

However, the player himself will know that he can perform much better.

If he doesn’t up his game, he could find himself dropped to the bench for the Scottish Cup Final. Rogic still has time to make the middle of the park his own. He is running out of chances though.
