Neil Lennon has announced his Celtic team for today’s Scottish Premiership encounter against Kilmarnock, as per celticfc.net.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting eleven – Fraser, Bauer, Ajer, Jullien, Bolingoli; Brown, McGregor, Ntcham, Christie, Forrest; Edouard.

Substitutes – Gordon, Taylor, Elhamed, Hayes, Elyounoussi, Rogic, Bayo.

After an impressive, but energy sapping, performance against Rennes on Thursday, Celtic must show they are capable of balancing European action against domestic demands.

Aside from international breaks, Celtic will be playing mid-week to weekend football on a regular basis well into December. There is little room for slip ups.

Expectations will be high this afternoon given the standards set so far this term. The Hoops are looking to make it six wins from six at the start of the league season.

Lennon has named a strong team to get the job done too, rejecting the option to rotate the team much. Only two changes have been made from Thursday’s match.

Olivier Ntcham comes in at the expense of Mohamed Elyounoussi. Meanwhile, Moritz Bauer will make his first ever start for the club, replacing Hatem Abd Elhamed.

The decision to start Ntcham alongside Brown, McGregor and Christie is certainly bold and it’ll be fascinating to see how they blend together in the same lineup.

It’s an exciting and ambitious team that will hopefully have far too much firepower for our Ayrshire visitors.

Fans are pleased with the lineup, citing the decision to play Ntcham from the start as a particular highlight.
