Neil Lennon’s Celtic side continued their fine winning run on Sunday, securing a 2-0 result at home to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
The Bhoys have now won the last seven games in all competitions at home and abroad. The Scottish champions are delivering massively.
Lennon chose not to rotate his team too much from the one that faced Lazio last Thursday, trusting much of his eleven to keep up their energy levels and motivation after the highs of Rome.
One of those players retaining his place was Jonny Hayes, continuing his run at left-back in place of the injured Boli Bolingoli.
Despite Greg Taylor’s arrival in the summer transfer window, Lennon continues to prefer the Irishman, despite having played the vast majority of his career in more attacking positions.

Hayes is there on merit though and hasn’t put a foot wrong in his last two matches. Yesterday’s performance even ensured he picked up the sponsor’s man of the match award in the stadium.
With maximum graft and a dangerous cross, he’s more than capable of being an effective left flank presence for us in the Scottish top-flight.
These fans were left delighted by his display, taking to Twitter over the last 24 hours to share their thoughts…
