Celtic look set to finally complete the signing of Kilmarnock left-back Greg Taylor sooner rather than later. The BBC are reporting that the deal between the clubs will be completed ‘within the next 24 hours’.
The news will be a welcome for Neil Lennon and the Celtic support. It seems like the deal has been dragging on for a long time. However, it now looks as if Taylor will shortly be confirmed as a Celtic player.

Taylor’s impending has been welcomed by some Celtic supporters on social media. One fan called him ‘by far the best left-back in Scotland’. That is certainly high praise.

An intriguing issue that may arise from the potential signing of Taylor will be if he is registered in time to face Rangers on Sunday. If there is any chance of the player signing in time for the Glasgow derby Celtic should move quick to get the deal done.

However, as he missed Kilmarnock’s draw with Aberdeen last week with an injury, that might not happen. Still, the signing of Taylor looks to be a good one by Celtic.
The player was excellent for the Kilmarnock side which finished third in the league last season. If he can keep that form going, he could be an excellent signing for the Hoops.
