Celtic returned to winning ways in the Premiership with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Ross County. The Hoops dominated the game from start to finish, and a burst of four goals in 10 second-half minutes put Celtic on the road to three points.

One of the best players on the day for the Hoops was Southampton loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi. He opened the scoring after only four minutes with a fine shot. He then got his second goal of the day to make it six-nil to the Hoops.

What happens to Elyounoussi at the end of the season will be interesting. Should he keep up his level of form then the Hoops support will be hoping that the player signs a permanent deal with the club.

Reported that loan deal has no option to buy

However, that might not be possible. A recent report in the Daily Echo claims that the player’s loan deal does not contain an option to buy at the end of the season.

That will be unfortunate for the Hoops, as he has been excellent for Celtic so far, and has added goals to the Celtic attack.

For the moment Elyounoussi will be concentrating on his own game, and not thinking about the future. However, it would be a real bonus for the Hoops if he is still playing at Celtic Park next season.
