Some Celtic fans on social media hailed goalkeeper Fraser Forster for his performance against Motherwell.
The Hoops goalkeeper had very little to do in the first-half of the game, but once more showed his worth with an excellent close-range reaction save from a Rolando Aarons shot.
Some Celtic fans were delighted with the save, with many pining for the Hoops to do all they can to make the goalkeeper’s loam deal a permanent one.
One fan described the goalkeeper as ‘priceless’. Another fan called on Celtic’s board to give Southampton a ‘blank cheque’ to secure 10 in a row.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Forster:

The save demonstrated all that is good about Forster. He doesn’t have a lot to do in a game, but makes a vital save when called upon.
Save came at vital time
That save proved to be a priceless one, as it came when Celtic were one-nil ahead. The Hoops moved two-nil ahead at the start of the second-half thanks to a Leigh Griffiths goal, and the Bhoys eventually won the game 4-0.
Whilst Griffiths, Odsonne Edouard and Callum McGregor, who scored the goals will get all the attention, Forster’s crucial save should not be forgotten about as it helped Celtic on the way to a vitally important win.
The fans on social media have given their verdict on Forster, they want him to stay with the Hoops on a permanent basis.
Only time will tell if that happens, but Celtic should do all they can to keep Forster at the club on a permanent basis.
