One of Celtic’s best players in the 5-0 win over Hearts on Wednesday night was left-back Greg Taylor.
After a slow start to his Hoops career, Taylor has become a regular in the starting line-up in recent weeks.
He continued his good run of form in the win over Hearts, as he provided an assist to Callum McGregor’s goal in the victory.
Suited to playing in formation
Taylor seems suited to playing in the 3-5-2 formation that Neil Lennon has moulded his team into after the winter break.

The left-back has started the last four league games for the side, and in that time he has two assists, which shows that attacking is just as important to his game as defending is.
It seems like Taylor is first-choice left-back for the Hoops at the moment.
Perhaps the greatest evidence for that was the fact that he was rested for recent Scottish Cup win over Clyde, to keep the player fresh for the Hearts game.
Move to rest player paid off
That move paid off. Taylor performed very well against Hearts.
With Celtic set to play in some big games before the end of the month – a trip to Aberdeen, the Europa League tie against Copenhagen – it will be interesting to see if Neil Lennon keeps faith in Taylor.

At the moment, there seems no reason not to.
Some Celtic fans on social media were certainly impressed with Taylor’s performance against Hearts.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the left-back’s display:
