Celtic have opened up a three point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership after winning 2-0 against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday.
Goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes ensured fans enjoyed a big derby victory after weeks of criticism and unrest.
The recent defeat to Cluj left a lasting mark on the Hoops support but today Neil Lennon and his side produced the perfect performance to turn the page on all that drama.

Although Edouard’s goal will see him hit the headlines again, it was Celtic’s defensive performance that left many fans delighted.
New signings like Hatem Abd Elhamed, Christopher Jullien and Boli Bolingoli were all superb in their first derby, defending robustly and showing the kind of composure needed in these fixtures.
Israeli international Elhamed produced a huge performance to do a job on the right flank as a right-back and in the middle as a centre-back following Nir Bitton’s substitution.

Elhamed played 100 minutes of fitba today with a fracture in his leg. What a find he’s been.

Elhamed hasn’t put a foot wrong since he joined. Total class.
The other two deserved early criticism, but are slowly improving with game time. Both were excellent today.— Derek12345 (@Derek123453) September 1, 2019
