Celtic have followed up Thursday’s superb European victory over Lazio with a stomping Scottish Premiership victory against Aberdeen this afternoon.
All four of the Hoops’ goals in the 4-0 win were scored in the first half. Neil Lennon’s men had put the game to bed by the interval after an exceptional performance.
In the second half Celtic continued to dominate, but were clearly happy with their days work and didn’t hit the back of the net again.
Odsonne Edouard, Mohamed Elyounoussi and James Forrest all found themselves on the scoresheet. However, it was teenager Jeremie Frimpong who might be most delighted with his efforts.
The young right-back scored a goal on just his third senior appearance after combining superbly with Edouard.
Just 18 years of age, the potential of Frimpong looks to be immense.

If he can continue to play like this then others in the squad don’t have much of a chance to take his spot on the right flank in Lennon’s team.
Signed for a cheap six-figure in the summer transfer window, is he destined to go down as one of the signings of the season?
