Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard has not found it difficult to find the back of the net for the French under 21 side. He scored twice in their 5-0 win over Azerbaijan on Thursday, taking his tally to six goals in three games for his country so far.
His performance for the under 21 side was noticed by Celtic’s Twitter account, which described the player as ‘on fire’.
It was also commented on by Celtic fans on social media. One fan described Edouard’s run of form for the under 21 side as ‘unbelievable’.
“Enjoy him while he’s here”

Meanwhile, another fan urged the Hoops support to ‘enjoy him while he’s here’.
Here are some of the best reactions from social media to Edouard’s latest performance for France under 21s:

The fear for Celtic fans has to be that teams who need a striker will be noticing Edouard’s excellent form for club and country.
Celtic might not be able to resist any massive offers for the player in the long-term. However, he cannot be sold in the January transfer window.
Player must not be sold in January

There is a league for the Hoops to win. Edouard should be at the forefront of Celtic’s bid for nine in a row. As for the summer, that may be a different story.
Celtic might not get the ‘£57 million’ that a fan in the reactions wants, but should Edouard continue his fine form the Hoops could receive more than the £25 million they got for Kieran Tierney.
That is for the future, for now though, Celtic fans can only marvel at the form of their top striker.
