Some fans can't get enough of Jeremie Frimpong after his Celtic display v Hibernian
Celtic supporters absolutely loved the performance of youngster Jeremie Frimpong today, after he helped the Bhoys to a 2-0 win over Hibernian at Celtic Park.
The win ensures that Neil Lennon’s men maintain a two-point lead over Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership after they beat Motherwell earlier this afternoon.
With players such as Ryan Christie and Mohamed Elyounoussi missing from the fixture, it was one of the more unusual Lennon starting elevens of the season, with the Hoops setting up with three at the back.
That did, however, allow Frimpong to terrorise the Hibs defence on the right flank. He was one of the real bright sparks throughout the afternoon.
His performance was rewarded with a goal just before half-time when Odsonne Edouard found his rampant run and the youngster slid the ball under Ofir Marciano.
He looked absolutely delighted to score for the club, celebrating wildly away to the Lisbon Lions stand.
His personality and joy for playing football are incredibly infectious and I personally can’t wait to see his post-match interview!
It wasn’t a classic team performance this afternoon by any means, but Frimpong definitely shone like a young star with huge potential.
Lennon’s team now march on to Tynecastle, where we face Hearts in a Wednesday night tussle live on television.
These fans took to Twitter today to share their thoughts on Frimpong’s display…
Starting a gofundme to give Frimpong any wage he wants

Let’s be brutally honest here………Frimpong is much further ahead at this age than Tierney was ……..but get him a proper full back on the other side and this Steamroller will roll forever 🍀🇮🇪

Frimpong at 18 is a more complete player than Tierney was in his first season for Celtic. Oh my days
