It has to be said that Celtic haven’t been at their best in the league recently. Two 0-0 draws against Livingston and Hibernian have meant that the Hoops have still to clinch their eighth league title in a row.
The Hoops need to get back on track with three points against Kilmarnock on Saturday. That should mean a return to the side for a player who was kept out of the starting line-up against Hibs – Tom Rogic.
Stop-start season
It has been a stop-start season for Rogic. Injuries and international tournaments have meant he has not been as influential as he has been in previous seasons.

However, on his day, he is still capable of producing that bit of magic. See for example, his goal in the recent 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup.
Be on the front-foot

The Hoops need to be on the front-foot from the start against Kilmarnock. An early goal would sweep away any doubts about winning the game.
Therefore, the mercurial Rogic should be handed a start by Neil Lennon. He will bring more attacking nous to the team than Olivier Ntcham, for example.

Rogic has always been a player who specialises in big goals. Look at the 2017 Scottish Cup Final for example. This game against Kilmarnock might not be as important as a cup final, but three points are still required to get the league campaign back on track.
Rogic is more than capable of finding the back of the net against Kilmarnock, and it would be no shock to see him open the scoring against the Rugby Park outfit.
