If we are being honest, this hasn’t been the best of seasons for Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic. Injuries and international trips have put a halt to his season.
He has scored only five goals this season, and you would expect better from an attacking midfielder. However, despite his indifferent form it would not be a shock to see Rogic get the nod to start the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts.
Four goals at national stadium

The reason why Rogic could start in the final: his superb record at Hampden Park. In the last three seasons the Hoops have played at Hampden Park 11 times. Rogic has scored in four of those matches.
The goals have been vital ones as well, such as the winner in the 2017 Scottish Cup Final. Indeed, one of Rogic’s five goals this season came at Hampden, in the 3-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen.

Ability to find the back of the net
Rogic’s ability to find the back of the net at Hampden may well see him get the nod over the likes of Olivier Ntcham and Oliver Burke in the Hoops starting line-up.

As Rogic is a favourite of the fans, any decision to start him in the game would be welcomed by the Hoops support.
Normally Neil Lennon wouldn’t select a player who is in indifferent form like Rogic has been. But this is not a normal occasion. The Hoops are going for a third successive domestic treble. Therefore, it would not be a surprise at all to see Rogic in the starting line-up.
