One of the most notable moments of Celtic’s recent 0-0 draw with Hibernian was the cameo appearance by Timothy Weah.
Weah only played the last five minutes plus injury time of the game. But he made an impact. His run set up Odsonne Edouard, who really should have scored the winning goal, but was denied by Hibs goalkeeper Ofir Marciano.
Cameo showed plenty of promise

In that short cameo, Weah showed more than most of his team-mates did in the entire game. The performance should be a sign that he gets more game time for the Hoops in the weeks to come.

It should be remembered that Celtic have still to clinch the league title. Despite the lead at the top of the table, four points are still required to get the Hoops over the line.
A victory is required

Therefore, a win over Kilmarnock is required to get the Hoops back on track for the title. Weah should be involved in that game, perhaps from the start.
He could act for a catalyst for the side. He did in the recent 2-0 win over St Mirren, opening the scoring.
At the moment some Celtic players look jaded. This is understandable, it has been a long and difficult season. That isn’t the case with Weah. He has looked bright and full of energy, in every appearance he has made for the club.
If the Hoops want to break down what will no doubt be a resolute Kilmarnock side, Weah may well be the man for the job.
