Will Celtic boss attend the battle between Ralston and Henderson?

All the focus at Celtic Park at the moment will be on the game against Livingston on Sunday. It is a game that the Hoops will be hoping to make a statement in, to prove that they are still the team to beat in the Premiership.

However, it would not be a surprise if there was some focus at Celtic Park on a game in the Premiership that is being played on Saturday, that does not involve the Hoops. It does involved two Celtic players though.

The game is Ross County vs St Johnstone, and it will feature two Celtic loanees come up against each other. The players are Ewan Henderson, who is currently on loan at Ross County, and Anthony Ralston, who is at St Johnstone on loan.

Both players will more than likely start the game, as they have both featured regularly for their loan teams since joining them. Henderson has made three appearances for County, whilst Ralston has made three appearances for the Perth side.

It will be interesting to see if Hoops boss Neil Lennon decides to attend the game. He may well want to see how the duo are performing in person. There is no better chance than when the duo will be up against each other.

As for who will come out on top, you’d imagine Henderson will be the favourite, as Ralston’s St Johnstone side are currently struggling at the bottom of the Premiership table.

However, if Neil Lennon attends the game, it could inspire the duo to put in their best performances of the season, knowing that their boss at Celtic will be watching.

It is not often that two loanees from the same team end up playing against each other. All at Celtic, but especially the manager, will be keeping a close watch on the game.
