67 Hail Hail fans have named who they would like to become the new long-term Celtic manager on TalkingPoints.
Martin O’Neill was reappointed until the end of the season after the Hoops made the decision to sack Wilfried Nancy following six defeats in eight games.
Celtic beat Dundee United in the 73-year-old’s first game back and it looks like the atmosphere has improved tenfold in that time.
Arne Engels seemed to criticise Nancy and praise O’Neill for the impact he has made.
A decision will be made at the end of the season as to who takes the reins for the long-term, and 67 Hail Hail’s fans have cast their vote on TalkingPoints.

I want the next manager of Celtic to be…
Who do Celtic fans want as their new long-term manager?
Getting this appointment right is more important than ever.
After the Nancy disaster, tensions between the board and fanbase are more intense than ever and could threaten to spill over at any given moment.
They need someone who can build off O’Neill’s work going into the new season, but the majority of fans want the Celtic legend to remain at the club beyond the initial agreement.
One fan said: “Definitely Martin O’Neill. Age is just a number, he is a great manager. Give him a rolling year contract, at least we know he knows how to win games. He should have never been let go before the shambles against St Mirren. Should have kept him in place until the end of the campaign.”
Another added: “Only one answer to that one, simple it’s Martin O’Neill.”
He wasn’t the only suggestion, though, as one fan suggested letting the Northern Irishman choose his replacement.

“The choice of Martin. Whoever he chooses is a football man. Better than the board’s choice. It almost cost us the league.”
Another, more rogue candidate, was Fulham’s Marco Silva.
Would Marco Silva join Celtic?
Fulham manager Silva is certainly an interesting option to say the least.
He has done wonders at the west London club so far and they are currently challenging for a top-half Premier League finish.
Change my mind. Marco Silva wouldn’t be interested in the Celtic job…
Silva’s contract is up at the end of the season and there are no signs of him wanting to commit to a new deal.
European football would be on offer with the Hoops but the Portuguese manager’s stock is high, and he may consider himself to be above Celtic.
Never say never, though.
