Following Brendan Rodgers’ resignation, Desmond claimed that every penny generated by Celtic was invested back into the club.
That remains to be seen and supporters have had enough of the sheets being pulled over their eyes.
One supporter said: “Go and buy another small club where you don’t have to spend a lot of money, and sell your shares to a young ambitious owner.”
