Celtic are looking for another big win in the Europa League against Stuttgart to help their bid to progress to the last 16 of the UEFA tournament.
Bundesliga club Stuttgart visit Celtic Park in the first of a two-legged play-off tie in which the Germans will provide the stiffest competition Martin O’Neill’s side have faced since Roma this season.
With a lucrative place in the last 16 up for grabs, if Celtic can negotiate the first leg without conceding and scoring a couple of goals, another memorable European night could be in store for the Glasgow giants.
On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that Celtic can beat Stuttgart?

Taking a lead to Stuttgart is so, so important. We saw with the Bayern Munich games last season that if the ball is in your court, anything is possible.
Performances have been less than ideal but we are churning out results and that’s what matters. The new signings can also play, well, most of them, which is good news.
I think it’s going to be another one of them famous nights under Martin O’Neill and we will take a slender aggregate lead to Germany.

Celtic have raised their game under Martin O’Neill in Europe, and I expect the team to be competitive. But Stuttgart are going to be really tough.
They will come to press Celtic very high up the pitch, which will exploit the big weaknesses in defence. Saying that, I still expect Celtic to get on the scoresheet with Callum McGregor, Sebastian Tounekti and Tierney the goalscorers.

We’ve managed some great results and performances in Europe this season, but this will take our biggest effort yet. Stuttgart will be in our faces from the start.
We can’t afford to start like we have in our last few games. Judging from our defensive form, I’m not expecting a clean sheet. Head over heart, to be honest – but I’ll be happy if we’re still in the tie going out to Germany.
Celtic 2 v 2 Stuttgart

My predictions have been woeful recently so let’s see how this one goes. In Europe, Celtic are a different animal under Martin O’Neill.
Wins against Feyenoord and Utrecht were great confidence builders and, hopefully, another big win could be on the cards tonight.
However, Stuttgart will be tough to beat as they are flying high in the Bundesliga and going for a Champions League spot.
With the home advantage, Celtic will still be dangerous but I fear this may be a stretch too far, especially with our defence.
