Adam Idah has enjoyed a lot of special Celtic memories in his two spells at the club so far.

Last season, Idah’s six-month loan spell not only turned around Celtic’s season, it completely kick-started the Republic of Ireland striker’s career which was flailing at Norwich City.

Idah already has a league title and a Scottish Cup winner’s medal to his name and the Celtic striker has shared a memory he’s experienced at the Bhoys that he’ll ‘never forget’ and it had nothing to do with last season.

Adam Idah’s ‘unbelievable’ Champions League moment with Celtic and warning to Club Brugge

Speaking ahead of Celtic’s clash with Club Brugge in the Champions League, Idah said the Bhoys’ 5-1 hammering of Slovan Bratislava is a memory that he’ll always remember.

Idah told the Daily Mirror [print edition page 47], “We feel we can compete with anyone. We are not afraid to play anyone.

“You saw that in the Leipzig game. We showed what we were there to do and we feel we can go head-to-head with any team.

“We relish the home games. It’s unbelievable. The first game against Bratislava was something I’ll never forget.

“Every time you have a Champions League game it’s really exciting.

“We have been really good so far so we need to keep pushing and hopefully doing well.”

Adam Idah’s incredible Celtic goal stat fans might not have known

Idah has had to settle mainly for minutes from the Celtic bench this season as Brendan Rodgers utilises Kyogo Furuhashi as his main goal threat.

However, despite that, the Irishman has still netted seven times for Celtic despite starting just five games out of 16 fixtures this season.

What makes that even more incredible is that in the 542 minutes, Idah has worn the Celtic jersey, the Irishman averages a goal every 77.42 minutes whereas Kyogo averages a goal every 156 minutes.

Idah has already paid back a huge chunk of the £8.5m Celtic paid Norwich City for him and if he continues to score at this rate, he will be worth a helluva lot more than the Hoops paid for him in the summer.
