Ahead of Scott Brown’s final home game for Celtic, the club have announced a special new clothing item.
A commemorative jacket will be worn by the Bhoys as they enter the pitch against St Johnstone. Adorned with the caption “Captain. Leader. Legend.”, the jackets may be player-issue only, but the club would do well to cash in.
As cynical as it might sound, who amongst us could turn our nose up at a training jacket that looks like this?
With Broony’s name and number on the back, this would surely be a prized item for so many Celtic supporters. One of our best-ever captains, Brown has won a remarkable 22 trophies with the club. Since arriving from Hibs in 2007, the number 8 has led the team through countless remarkable performances, picking up silverware for fun and living rent free in the minds of opponents.

Even in dire times, you can’t deny Celtic supporters aren’t willing to support their club by any means necessary. That, obviously, includes buying a very tidy jacket, provided it’s made available.
